Join us on September 9 and 10 for two days of good friends, fun, and raising money for Colorectal Cancer research and treatment.  The event is hosted by the Fitzpatrick family in memory of Joni Marten and Joe Fitzpatrick.  After Joni was diagnosed in June 2013, a group of family and friends participated in the Undy 5K in Peoria.  A few years later Joe was diagnosed with colon cancer and unfortunately lost his battle in April 2017.  Joni continued to fight and after a 7-year battle with cancer lost her battle in April 2020.  In the past seven years we have raised over $50,000 for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.  CCA is the leading organization leading the fight against colon cancer.  Because of organizations like CCA Joni lived several more years than her diagnosis suggested.  We do this to honor Joe and Joni but to also help all those affected by colorectal cancer in Logan County.  100% of the proceeds will benefit CCA.  They are the leader in supporting those affected by colorectal cancer, creating awareness about early detection and funding research.
